                      Whoever plays there is going to be running a lot. I wouldn't disagree with putting someone more mobile there, but it will be at the price of quality.

                          Here's the issue.

                          What If we get a result without Gerrard?

                          Because even if we did, I'd be surprised if he didn't start v Chelsea. And that's when the knifes would come out.

                          I can see why he wouldn't play though. As said already, players will be chasing shadows all night, not Stevie's biggest strength running around and we could do with saving his legs for the home game v the Chavs which is IMO more important.
