The manager - where are you at?

Every set of fans like to think they are the best fans. It'a bull**** ideal though really. How would you even quantify it, how do a set of fans become the best. All fans want success and some are willing to wait longer than others. Still all fans. Years ago as Lec has pointed out there would have been unrest at times but unless you were a match going red then you'd probably not know about it. With the internet becomes an increased awareness of all points of view, positive and negative, whereas years ago you'd only know what yourself and your mates thought. Does anybody really have the best fans in the world, I'm not sure what that even means. Maybe Dortmund cos they seem to be taking their current malaise very well.
One other point, Pablo said he's surprised at how most on here seem to have lost faith very quickly. I'm pretty sure the poll says that most haven't but a lot are wavering, including you Pablo

If you think that Shankly, Paisley or Fagan would be calling for his head already then I couldn't disagree with you more? I fully believe they'd be appalled that the fans would turn on the manager so quickly. They'd be right too.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Saw this and had no idea where to put it, so slapping it here just cause. It makes you think.
Warnock was glad to see his side beat Liverpool, as he believes they face a tougher test at the Liberty Stadium this weekend.
He said that he expects a 'real battle' in South Wales:
'It was so important to get points on board against Liverpool because this is our toughest match coming up,'
'I watched Swansea against Arsenal and I thought they were the better side — and the best team I've seen this season. They are a really good team and Garry has done a fantastic job.
'They are a threat everywhere and have changed slightly so they are a bit tougher as well, so this is going to be a real battle.'

Warncock though innit!
I regard all of what that man says as manipulative hypocritical self centred ****e.
The bloke and his actions are one of the many blights on the game of football. imho.
The word '****', could have been invented to describe him!Last edited by Vermilion; 27-11-14, 10:14 PM.

The only time I'd consider changing a manager mid season would be if I thought they were going to relegate us. Rodgers deserves time to turn it around. If we drop into the bottom three at this stage of the season then it might be time to have a rethink. I refuse to believe our decline is terminal though, we must get better, surely?!

I agree completely, it's hopelessly shortsighted changing manager at this stage...Originally posted by captainfog View PostThe only time I'd consider changing a manager mid season would be if I thought they were going to relegate us. I actually can't see where the change is coming from, if Stoke beat us, they'll pull away from us, so if results don't go our way we could be left very close to the bottom. We are three points from 17th with the same goal difference. "Luckily" our rivals are playing the top sides.Originally posted by captainfog View PostThe only time I'd consider changing a manager mid season would be if I thought they were going to relegate us. Having said that, what has been driving my crazy is Rodgers reluctance to tackle the glaring problems, he seemed to be trying against Ludo so I can see why he should be given a couple of more matches.
But for me, personally, I'm taking it match by match, I really doubt he can change it.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
