But I think he's gone if we go out the CL midweek. If we win, he gets a stay of execution and you never know, confidence may come seeping back and before you know it, we're on a role. But he has to be careful. Those players who have been sidelined would love a change of manager.

It really is beyond time that those he has shown faith in start to man up and perform. Because I dare say that a fair few would be out the door sharpish with a change of manager.
I think it's simplistic to blame our form on confidence, I think it's more about tactics and team selection. Hoping our confidence coming back to fix this is futile IMO.

Having slept on it I am even more convinced he needs to go ASAP.

The malaise has well and truly set in and I think he will have lost a lot of players as well with his stubborn selections and discarding of those who have come in and actually done well.

He will be given more time but I just cannot see him changing things in the way they need to be changed.

It is sad to see how things have panned out, but it seems he (and the committee) really messed up this summer. I would get rid of the lot of them and start afresh - we can still save this season with the right man at the helm.

Me too, I think it's a waste of time and resources to keep him on. If another manager can get us higher up the table then the difference in prize money will pay for the sacking of Rodgers.

Who would you bring in though Tee?

Would FSG ask Kenny to step in again? Would they approach an international manager to serve on an interim basis?

I am not in this 'Wait til the end of the season' camp. But its starting to worry me now.

First time for a long time on Saturday evening I wasnt suprised or annoyed we lost. Which means the fight and love has gone out of me for this season.

He needs to get that back. Everything I have seen from this team has had us devoid of ideas. However, last season has built up some credit with me for how he had us playing. A manager doesnt go bad over night.

See how it goes over the next few games and look at it in December. If he cant arrest this slide he unfortunately needs to step aside for someone else to have a crack. 2 and a half years is enough to imprint onto a side and get them performing as your own team.

He has let himself down with the signings, as everyone bar Monero and Lallana look no good at all.

It's absolutely mental this. It defies all logic. We almost won the league in April/May of THIS year...with about 12/13 decent players...playing sublime football...scoring 100+ goals....yet even my support is wavering

Are we a bunch of knee-jerking cunts? Part of me thinks we are.

He's thrown it all away this season. Chucked away all the principles that made us successful last season. Everything that made us special. Gone. It defies all logic and I just fathom why he's done it?

I would go all out for the likes of Klopp, or if he is not available make noises for Pep or similar. If no one can take the job now, get Rafa in as an interim and if he does well he keeps the job.

FWIW I think we could get Klopp.

                  Not really.

We work with a company and they built up a lot of good will with us, but they then spent the next 6 months or so ****ing up and letting us down. Good will only gets you so far.

It is the sad reality of football in this day and age. There is no time when there are 7 or 8 clubs battling for 4 pots of gold.

I'm sure Pep would jump at the chance of leaving Bayern Munich

Not now of course, but I read that he will be looking for a new challenge at the end of the season.

I wouldn't get your hopes up about Pep, Tee.

                          It isn't happening. Ever.

You've lost it Tee. All hope of sanity is long gone my friend

I also think the last 5 years have taken their toll on our patience in aggregate.
                              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Out of Interest, why the clamour for Klopp? He is in a very very similar position to Rodgers this season. Dortmund are massively underperforming. How is that different to us?
