            Exactly.

Unless there's a top calibre manager available, I can't see FSG pulling the trigger. They won't ask Kenny to step in as caretaker again, will they?

It's a sorry mess, and I can see us winning against Stoke, but then losing a few more again. Remember when we wanted Hodgson sacked, there was Dalglish and Benitez available. Now there's Tony Pulis.

Unless Rodgers shows he can turn it around in terms of performances, then my wavering confidence would be extinguished.

So, you are saying that if we offered Klopp the job now he would refuse?

Klopp has now revealed England is the only country, other than his homeland, in which he would want to ply his trade.

Klopp“It’s the only country, I think, where I should work, really, next to Germany, because it’s the only country I know the language a little bit and I need the language for my work.”

Speaking in an interview with BT Sport’s SportsHUB programme, which will be aired in full on Saturday afternoon, he added: “So we will see. If somebody will call me, then we will talk about it.”

I can't say anything for sure. Klopp is an absolute legend at Dortmund, I doubt he'd walk out on them midseason. Despite their poor form, the fans sing his chant his name week in, week out, they ****ing love him.

That team today was full of experience. Sterling, Coutinho and Manquillo aside they were all very experienced footballers. Even the first two names I mentioned have been regulars in the side for a couple of seasons.

It's a **** excuse and he's embarrassing himself by saying it.

Get Pep Guardiola in. At least he'd have brought a Barca style of play.

I'd take Pulis at this rate, at least he'd sort the ****ing defence out and have us playing with some spirit and bollocks.

On a more serious note. What about Simeone?

Only if he promises to bring Koke and Turan with him.

I think of the Rodgers problem is he's surrounded by his own men who I imagine are yes men. Whilst Pulis or Clarke are out of work or whoever, why not ask them in and get a fresh set of eyes and opinions. Didn't Pulis invite Rafa in to Stoke for a while when they first got in Europe?

I'm not convinced he'll turn it around and thats mainly down to him persisting with the so called senior players. His interview today saying the younger members are struggling made it clear as day he's oblivious but who do you get at this stage? We might as well give him the chance and if things don't change he'll be gone based on the poor results.
