I think that in light of their respective ****ness, we want to limit the amount of times the opposition gets a free run into the final third. That's where a defensive midfielder might help. Like Schneiderlin and Wanayma for Southampton these two seasons. Last year Southampton had Lovren and Fonte but were still better than us at the back now.

Southampton conceded 46 goals last season

We conceded 50

I dont think there is much in it

The goals against League Table looked like this at the end of last season

Chelsea 27
Man City 37
Everton 39
Arsenal 41
Man Utd 43
Southampton 46
Crystal Palace 48
Liverpool 50

By the way Southampton scored only 54 goals last year (against our 101)

Looking at all the above we should have concentrated our efforts on what we did best

This is what I mean - Sarb, you're kind of instigating this. Its massively offputting to come into a forum when things aren't great to see endless tedium about how fed up YOU are. We get it - its not going well - you're spiky with it as well, which is why you keep getting the responses you get.

I really dont know what you mean. Ive posted on topic. Ive not really not accepted an opposing viewpoint. Folk entitled to their own opinions. Not sure what else you disagree with. Im not insulting anyone or calling anyone a cunt.

There's a definite clique on the site and those of us who tend to be more vocal on the less than positive side of things put up with endless digs for posting our opinions, even getting banned. Its out of order and the place really is going downhill I think.

For example, you can post the same positive stuff over and over again, if you 're a bit of a pessimist then you'll get told to cut it out or change the ****ing record.

I personally like to read things from all perspectives, its far more interesting and what the site should be.

I haven't seen Sarb start anything either?
