For example, you can post the same positive stuff over and over again, if you 're a bit of a pessimist then you'll get told to cut it out or change the ****ing record.

I personally like to read things from all perspectives, its far more interesting and what the site should be.
From my perspective its not the site is going downhill its just the negative posters seem to just go on and on and on and on and on and on endlessly with the same negativity, I just don't think the same things need saying on every thread constantly.

Maybe the same could be said about positive posters but then they are not as vocal.

I haven't seen Sarb start anything either?
I'm not sure if it is cliquey. I certainly don't feel part of any clique on here, I just post wherever I feel like posting. I do try to exert a bit of self awareness in what I write though, like not repeatedly making the same point over and over again. Last time I did that, I was drunk with rage about Andy Carroll signing and was told to shut up the same as anyone else is.

From my point of view as a Mod, we get quite a few complaints that people drive a negative point into the ground, but very little about driving the same positive point.

So it obviously riles people. But its hard to say stop being negative without being told you are suppressing an opinion, which is never a Mods intentions.

If we did that we wouldn't have a forum. Itd just be a load of blokes going around patting each other on the back. Which I think we can all agree is brilliant

Because the pessimistic stuff by its very nature is bloody depressing.

Our defence is just a downward spiral. It really has become psychological now to the point where there's no actual real belief that they can keep a clean sheet and/or not let the opponents score in the last minute.

My theory is to give a rest to those that are mentally jarred like Mignolet, Skrtel and Johnson. They need to be taken out of the firing line. I actually thought Gary Neville made some excellent points after the CL game. Have to say, he's not a great co-commentator but he's a bloody good pundit imo.

                    I disagree, there's a definite clique.

I really don't see what the problem is with people being a little repetitive, especially when many see the same mistakes being made on the pitch every game, its only natural the same points are going to crop up.

It pisses me of when some posters just jump on a negative post and simply have a dig at the poster without actually addressing the points made. Thats repetitive, offers nothing, yet never gets addressed.

They bought Alderweireld from Atletico to replace him for probably a fraction of what we paid for Lovren. Why did we pay so much for Lovren? If they shipped 46 goals? Why?
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

That may be so, but people should be able to make those posts as freely as those who're always positive.

Anyways, I've given my thoughts on the issue, I'll end it here.

I honestly don't think this is site is cliquey at all......in fact I'd go as far as saying it's one of the least cliquey of all LFC forums.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                            Because he's a "leader".

Just not sure we should be following.

Theres a few people that get on, dont think it's cliquey though really, certainly not in the football forum. "Theres a clique" is often the go to line when people spam the forum and get a bit of stick back. And from what I remember you got most grief because you were calling the manager a fraud etc when we were sat 4th in the table. And you were a bit repetitive lets be honest.

I could believe a lot of this if we had been tight at the back last year...but we werent

Last season we conceded 50 odd goals

We signed Lovren who came from a Southampton side that had 2 decent holding midfielders yet still conceded only 4 less than we did

They replace Lovren (& Shaw) at the back and suddenly Southampton look like ****ing geniuses at defending

This is why I am none too convinced that we have the personnel

To defend well you have to have the right personnel, doing the right things

We dont have either of those at the moment which is why I keep saying we should just forget about even trying to defend and stay tight and concentrate on attacking more which was our forte last year
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
