Not sure Can or Henderson are ideally suited for that left side of the 3, but I'd like to see us try it anyway. Full of running, ability and intelligence.

Lucas has to start. Not bothered about the rest.

Time has come to shore up the back & become more solid. If we gift a goal though a mistake or a set piece so be it. If they were the only issues we'd soon start winning.

Lambert may start to tire, but for lack of better options he has to play, plus he's on the goal trail. I fancy he'll bang another in, & then be rested v Leicester and have fans going mad.

I'd consider resting Gerrard if we were away. As it happens, I'd start him & rest him against Leicester who are all about energy. I saw them v MUFC & they were non stop. Not a game for Stevie IMO, until the last 30. At Anfield, he should be fine to start behind Lambert.

As we are at home you could also make cases for Lallana & Coutinho. Can will want to start again also. I'm sure Moreno will play. My guess is Glen drops to the bench & comes back for Leicester. Makes sense.

I agree, it has the best potential on paper at least. Keep them for the next game if possible, we need to establish a core.

It may we'll be rubbish but the guy does work for the club. The message was followed with a follow up which basically says Rodgers has gone mental at all the players. Stevie is pissed.

i don't think i've ever seen the LFC forums so deflated. With Rafa it was time to go, Hodgson was just anger, Kenny was always temporary but i think we all really thought that we were back with Rodgers after last year. Talk about a reality check, gutted.

Due to life seeming more important, and not wanting to go out of my way to depress myself, I barely give a FK that we are playing right now.

There aren't really any players that excite in the current set up. There is no talisman, nobody to look to for flair and excitement. We used to have players that would bite the opposition FFS.

My relationship with football is like a crumbling marriage. It contains the odd bit of excitement now and then - but are we in love anymore... I don't think so.

We've gone from amazing attacking champagne football to unbelievably crap constipated football all in the space of one calendar year.

Not hard to understand why the LFC forums are so deflated.

It feels like whoever we're playing at the moment we're the underdogs. I don't think that's happened in any of our lifetimes up until now...
