I thought balotelli created himself a chance, also made a good run and got on the end of a cross and won us some freekicks. He's playing with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Can't see why everyone is so unwilling to give him a break. A goal for strikers makes all the difference.

1 defeat in the last 8 league games.

Clean sheet with Markovic Can and Coutinho finding form and looking much more fluent.

            Lovely stuffs.

Improved performance, Marko, Coutinho, Can and Lucas all looked very good. Love the way how Marko is progressing, looks like he could be something special plus he works hard to track back.

He can take the weight of the world somewhere else and we can hopefully get a striker who might look like they might score. He has scored for us, it didn't help. We shouldn't keep him as some kind of therapy.

We are making progress slowly and it follows a similar pattern to Rodgers first season in charge. He was communicating his ideas to new players that season, similar to this season, he is trying to get his ideas across to new signings. I think this second half will show slow progress and if Rodgers keeps his job, next season will be interesting. Just requires a bit of patience I suppose.
