Joe Allen ought to never pull on our shirt again. Ineffective.
Rodgers wants sectioning if he ever pairs Gerrard & Allen in midfield again.
So much wrong out there tonight, but thankful to get through. Especially seeing as how the ref almost decided our fate."I will make the boys feel your support"

Opening day last season. His debut for us.Originally posted by badpiggy View PostWins like this matter. Emre Can, Sakho, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge. Great spine to this team. Pity scored penalties against us are a given - has Mig ever saved one for us? Over in 90 mins too! Happy days!
Don't think he's saved once since.
I wouldn't be too harsh on The Mig. He's dramatically improved in recent weeks.

Happy with the result. Thankfully two good goals eclipsed our hilarious missed (although at least we didn't have the worst shot tonight).
Lucky that Gudjohnssen missed that header and that we played against 10 for half an hour but to be fair our style of play means that teams often run out of steam in the last 20 minutes playing against us.
Players aren't going to gamely stay on their feet when Skrtel makes challenges in the box that are absolutely nowhere near the ball. He has previous for this but has been playing well recently so I forgive him. Because we won.
Can coming on nicely as well. I like his directness.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Job done. Feeling relieved now.
Can is class. A beast. Amazing wherever he plays.
Coutinho is really upping is game and a few more goals will get him onto the cusp of that world class bracket.
Mignolet is still looking good after his time out. He's improved a lot over the last month.
Worried about Sterling. Took that knock early on and carried on so hopefully he'll be okay for Saturday.
