    Manchester United (h) build up

This is huge. People may mock the "race for top 4" but for both clubs' respective and immediate futures it is an absolutely massive game.

Personally I'd leave Sturridge out, get Sterling up top, Lallana in the hole with Coutinho and Markovic to wing back. Both Sterling and Lallana are being wasted at the minute in the wing-back positions.

Sturridge just doesn't look right and the team I've gone for would be a return to the set-up that beat City. Nice weapon to have up our sleeve coming off the bench too.

If we play anywhere near our fast, fluid and mobile best, they won't be able to handle us.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'm definitely feeling this one in the pit of my stomach already. I don't know whether to punch someone or have a ****. This is how football is meant to make you feel.

Raging. Am heading over to Liverpool for this with no tickets. Always knew there was a good chance I'd end up just watching in a bar which normally I don't mind, but it's such a big game I'd much prefer to be sat in my living room so I can watch the match in peace.

Ahh well, I have 100% record watching matches in Liverpool bars.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I've managed to royally **** up on this one. We are heading up to the lakes on Thursday to look at properties, staying 3 nights, which means I'm driving back to London on Sunday. I hate watching these games, but I'm not convinced driving down the M6 will take my mind off matters. Radio 5 live on in car?

Listening on the Radio is even worse. Every single bit if action sounds like an imminent goal. Gives me a heart attack. Stop off for a pub lunch somewhere and watch it?

Good shout, i think Markovic's pace would be useful against Young on our right, and Sturridge just can't get going still. I really didn't like his shouting and arm waving after Moreno didn't lay him in last night. Moreno did choose the wrong pass but it just shows how frustrated Sturridge is and maybe isn't playing his natural game just yet.

Anyone going with Gerrard? Van Gaal switched to 4-3-3 at the weekend and they absolutely bossed it. He will have a plan to stop our formation so it might be worth throwing in a surprise and sticking with the diamond we played yesterday or a different variation at least.

Sturridge looks a way off form, but he is still contributing. Another great little assist last night. He's surely going to hit top form eventually, but even at the moment his stats are pretty good:

                Games (3 starts, 4 subs):
                Goals: 2
                Assists: 3

I'd still start him personally although I can see the logic in playing the same team as we did against City.

Yeah radio can be a nightmare alright. Won't have time to stop as I'm stopping off to see my parents and hopefully my bro. Nah, it will have to be music on and try and forget all about it! Pull in at the services and check the final score, either instant happiness or deep depression.

Yep. The feeling is back. It's been a while.
I couldn't sleep last night thinking about bloody football.
                      Oh I don't know.

I wouldn't start Gerrard but he could be very valuable coming on. If Lucas is fit I'd start him, could we play all three?

                        Can - Skrtel - Sakho
                        Henderson - Lucas - Allen - Moreno
                        Sterling - Coutinho
                        Sturridge

Don't really like it myself but is it possible? Could easily switch to a different system with Can as RB.

I agree with Shaggy but I can't see it happening, either Lovren will play and Can will go into midfield or Gerrard will start, both in place of Allen.
I think Rodgers will want someone more physical to sit in front of Fellani to stop Utd playing into him
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

You reckon? I think Allen is a dead cert to start to be honest

Not a chance Allen is getting dropped, Fellaini is what he is he'll win loads of headers and bring the ball down regardless of who we put on him, just got to stop the second balls.
