How much bigger, I think I read that a few years ago you got more prize money from just doing ok in the CL group stage than you got for winning the Europa League.

Just because we are playing on Sundays (if we're in the Europa League) doesn't make us anymore likely to be on TV.

Group Stage qualification for the CL will go up from £6.4m to £8.9m. The TV money (to be shared) was £52m and will be in the region of £78m to £93m after the new deal.

That article also states that the £4.30 going to the CL for every £1 to the EL will be reduced so now for every £1 in the EL only £3.30 will go to the CL.
