Rafa and Klopp yes. I don't understand the fascination with De Boer. Ajax are not exactly doing great right now and haven't for a while in a B league

Andy gray talking total sense on Bein now. Saying he cant see Rodgers team, plan etc. He says we are a top 8 team but no more, and this isnt a title winning team being moulded.

Sorry mate, they're normally spot on

As for the game, well........ I know I predicted 3-0 in the thread, but I wouldn't have put a penny on it really. We have one plan, give it to Coutinho who has no runners to pass too. **** knows why Sterling isn't central anymore. I know he misses chances, but at least he causes problems.

But for once, Rodgers will be right if he says Joe Allen had a decent game. Put in some great challenges.
          Forwards.......

This reminds me of a 1-0 away defeat to Southampton in Houllier's final season. It was a dire performance with the manager looking glum and clueless on the sidelines.

I wonder if Rodgers will go the same way as Houllier did then?

I thought the FA cup losers got through (so Villa would be guaranteed) but the League Cup it defaults to the league, or did that change?

Yup, clearly the only one who kept trying to the end, just nothing in front of him moving at all. I don't get why Balotelli played, he was his usual abysmal self of course but more than that he just doesn't make the sort of runs that suit the supply and Phil is our only creative spark at the moment. Our best form this season came with Sterling up front imo, he isn't clinical enough but at least he looks to get in behind. He was terrible out on the left today too.

I thought Henderson wasn't great in midfield but at least he offered something in attack and hit the target a few times. Ibe is excused, he needs to learn how to play in those sort of games still, and I thought Skrtel was ok, but that really was an insipid performance all round

Last season our top PL goalscorer was Suarez with 31, this season it takes our top 6 PL goalscorers to match that total (Sterling 7, Gerrard 6, Henderson 6, Coutinho 4, Sturridge 4, Lallana 4)

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Suarez scored two and set two up for Barca tonight.

I think he'll be a goner now after that performance, possibly be tomorrow if I'm being honest. Awful that was, but and it's a big but. Once again the manager has been massively let down by a team of spineless cunts.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Can you offer your place in the Europa League to another team? You should be allowed. It's ****ing ****e.

Have to say, I'm not all convinced on Sterling as a winger. And as a striker he missed all the time. He's had half a good season and that was in the hole behind the striker. In fairness to him, it might be because he's all over the place this season with the tactics we are playing. But I don't see a world class winger in the making.

Aston Villa have to win the FA Cup to gain entry into the Europa League. Otherwise, it goes to 7th place.

We need European football. The squad needs it for the experience and pressure of handling two games a week. It's small time if we can't handle it, especially as Rodgers himself is used to managing 50 odd games a season for Swansea, and had two seasons of European football here.
