Well it's good to see we at least gave them a chance.

Joe Gomez took a further step in his rehabilitation on Sunday by playing 45 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly at Melwood.
The Liverpool defender, who has been out of action since October 2015 after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury, returned to training with the team last month.
And the latest phase of Gomez’s recovery saw the 19-year-old come on at half-time in a friendly encounter with League Two side Accrington Stanley.
Jürgen Klopp recently explained plans for such an appearance for the England youth international, as the club adopt a patient approach with his comeback.
“It is a long way,” said the manager. “He was injured for a long time and now it is a long way back, so there is no rush in it. We can give him time to come back in the right moment.”

He was always a CB really wasn't he? Rodgers gave him some experience at full-back which is pretty standard really for young and not physically developed CB's.Originally posted by SB View PostPlayed at CB it says. Probably less running to do at CB compared to wing back but I wonder if we'll see him there this season or in continues at LB for a while ?
However we don't play with full-backs now, he was solid defensively but not much was expected of him going forward, I'd be shocked if we saw anything from him in wide areas to be honest under Klopp. Milner, Clyne and Moreno are all basically midfielders with great engines.Vive la France

Could see a loan move to get him CB experience before he pushes for a regular place in our team, even as cover. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
