Thanjk you.

When under pressure and in a tight spot he's got the confidence and ability to play his way out and find a team mate without lumping it forward. It's great to watch.
Another great game & solid performance. His yellow was harsh i reckon. Not his fault he was quicker & stronger to get back in possession. It is a competitive physical sport after all.
I think I must have been watching a different game, he wasnt put under any great pressure defensively, he gets the ball cuts inside and passes it back which puts us under pressure, he's an 18 year old right footer. I think its madness to continue him at left back.
18, out of position and taking the piss out of Arsenal at the Emirates. Dear oh dear. What a player. I'd never heard of him till we signed him but Charlton fans were right, he'll be as good as he wants.
He had the ball and loads of time to pick a pass and chose to chip it up to Benteke a few times too many for me but other than that and given his age and playing out of position I think he did very well.

Mates old man is a Charlton fan, he said in the Summer we've signed some real talent. He was not wrong

The boy is 18 and learning, not perfect by any stretch but he has done more than enough to justify his place in the team. Position-ally he is already better than Moreno and seems very quick to snuff out danger, he hasn't looked out of place at all - the early signs are very promising.

If he'd cost £15m from Southampton he'd be getting stick tbh. But in an uncomfortable position he's doing a decent job overall individually, but even more than that, he's working really well within the defensive unit. Very good positioning.
He is a huge talent, but teams must surely get on to what he's going to do, cut back inside. I'd be suprised if West ham dont close down the two players behind when he gets the ball on the weekend.
Long term I wonder what will happen to him, he doesnt look big enough to play centre back, he wont dislodge Clyne on the right. I wonder if he could play DM I much prefer him to Rossiter

he is 6' 2"
joe gomez is a great prospect. like we just spent 15m on an established player.
he is very right footed when turning and wingers will all be onto this. watching him run with the ball is great.
he will have to stay LB until we get a decent alternative. we would be mad to put moreno back in there as he is shocking. having seen what a decent defensive LB/RB can bring to the balance and solidity of the defence it would be rash to give moreno a game there.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
