to save all the pissing about we should loan him to southampton for six months so he can learn to defend, then just buy him back for £20m.Originally posted by labourRed View Post10m for Gomez would be outstanding business. It'll probably end up at Southampton mind.
or get some decent coaches.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think a lot of people would take issue with that. He is very highly rated in some corners. Not seen enough of him recently to comment on his value. A loan is probably sensible after the injury problems.Originally posted by labourRed View Post10m for Gomez would be outstanding business. It'll probably end up at Southampton mind.

He stupidly overrated IMHO and with his bad injury it makes that deal look great.Originally posted by Charly View PostI think a lot of people would take issue with that. I remember he looked pretty solid, walking into the starting eleven after he first joined from Charlton.Originally posted by labourRed View PostHe stupidly overrated IMHO and with his bad injury it makes that deal look great.
If he has improved since then, then perhaps 10m is a bit low in todays market... but hasnt he been pretty much injured since then?
A loan makes sense at this point. Its not like we have a ton of amazing defenders jostling for position anyway, it would seem prudent to give him a chance before we write him off.

We should just loan Southampton for 6 months. Probably more cost efficient.Originally posted by baitman View Postto save all the pissing about we should loan him to southampton for six months so he can learn to defend, then just buy him back for £20m.

What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
