I'm not sure why we didn't just hold off till the FA Cup game and give Trent a rest for that one. Although goodness knows if the Solanke deal made them more amenable on this one.

I wonder if the £19m fee for Solanke included us chucking in the loan of Clyne for the rest of the season
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I see Neil Warncock isn't at all bothered about not getting Clyne then.

'Liverpool and Clyne promised me the deal would be done'

'Lack of class, i gave Nathaniel his debut too'

'Didn't even tell me, i saw he'd gone to Bournmouth on the tv'

'I did everything right, maybe i should have tapped him up eh?''.

There's a reason that people call him Colin ******, and things like this are part of it

I hope that Cardiff get relegated so that he can go back to the championship where he belongs, and we all get to see/hear less of him
