Nah, it was feb 16, I just checked. We were on that good run of form and looking like pulling it back.

9 games into our unbeaten streak, top of the form table, actually 7th but on a a charge back up at the time.

Last year we had 45,000 fans in Thailand and this year about half of that, which should not come as a suprise given the squad we took on this year tour.

Without Coutinho and Firmino many weren't as excited to come and watch.

Clyne & Ibe will traumatize LB s up and down the country next season ... that is quite possibly they most complete right side i have seen in years, fast powerful, direct, strong defensively with a high work rate ... man keep those two fit and we will be up there

That was easily the most promising thing i took from the match. They seemed to link up so well and that was on one of the most waterlogged pitches I've ever seen!! Imagine them bombing up and down the wing on a good pitch

RE: the low turnout, I spoke to somebody on Twitter who lives over there and he said it was a combination of poor economy over there and no star players in the side anymore

Echo reporting that stadium was half full and that support in Thailand was on the wane. Seems to confirm that we're a club in decline.

Well if the fans over here take the same approach I guess the season ticket waiting list will drop!

To be fair to the overseas fans, stars or no stars, friendlies are a tough watch for me. I remember going to watch us play at Peterborough once, team full of kids, good crowd however we left at half time and got smashed in the pubs and tried to pull anything in the vincinity, not much by the way, that was over ten years ago, I dread to think how bad the place is now. **** hole.

Apparently we also normally play over there at the weekend, with months of notice - so there are plenty of mitigating circumstances.
