Does anyone else think we're a little under-prepared for the start of the season? Not enough games and we haven't had our likely first XI play together even once before the first game. That seems less than ideal to me.

I don't think Firmino will start at Stoke, but surely Benteke will, Firmino has also been away playing international games over the summer so hasn't been in pre-season training that long so I can understand that somewhat. I do wonder about our preparations this summer, we don't seem to have played many games and with all due respect they haven't been against great sides, given the start of the season is just over a week away it does make me a little uncomfortable.
Speaking of uncomfortable I think we will all be in for an uncomfortable start to the season with centre back pairing of Skrtel and Lovren. Like many others I don't really understand it.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment
