For the first 20 minutes i'd love us to go man for man on their midfield and press them.
Ozil/Lucas
Sanchez/Milner
Can/Ramsey
Coutinho/Cazorla
Firmino/Coquelin.
Instead we are going to sit back and be picked off. Sanchez/Ozil down the left finding space in the box for Ramsey and Giroud. Ings will come on for Firmino for the last 20, we will hoof it up to him and Beneteke and will be ****. 2-0 Arsenal.

We lost it at the 1st match up. Ozil will have a field day IMO.Originally posted by Liverpool View PostFor the first 20 minutes i'd love us to go man for man on their midfield and press them.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'm surprised at that to be honest, I wouldn't have thought that this was the game to give him his first start in.Originally posted by Bender View PostFirmino set to start tomorrow v Arsenal according to various reportsThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think Arsenal is a great game to start Firmino in. Gives him a chance to have a go from the off and get into the swing of the game.
I think we can compete but they have the advantage of being together longer and knowing each other's game.
I reckon Gomez will have a stormer and there will be talk of an England call up.Was muß, das muß.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers seeks mental edge over Arsenal
Liverpool can gain a psychological advantage over Premier League rivals Arsenal with a victory on Monday, manager Brendan Rodgers says.
Liverpool lost 4-1 at Arsenal in April, and have managed just one away win over the Gunners in the last 15 years.
But Rodgers believes there is a way to win there.
"If you assess the last 10 games Arsenal have lost at home, it's been about dangerous possession for the teams who have won," Rodgers said.
"No matter when these games come in the season, they are always good for the psychological effect."
Liverpool finished sixth last season - when they took one point from two games against Arsenal - and their manager is looking for improvement."
Rodgers' side have started their Premier League season with two 1-0 victories over Stoke and Bournemouth, while Arsenal followed a 2-0 defeat at home to West Ham by winning 2-1 at Crystal Palace.
Rodgers said: ""The teams who have been (to Arsenal) have only averaged about four shots on target, with 43% possession. It tells you that you don't need to dominate the ball, but you can dominate the space.
"Like Arsenal, we do like to dominate the ball, but there are certain games where you look at the tactical approach of what will get you the result. That's something we've done and have been working on this week."Hello mert.
