Add to this the usual 15m budget and we could sign three or four genuine quality players, or 10 average if Rafa want´s to Stay or go, I don´t care.

Same here mate. I surprise myself, really, as there was a time when I would’ve been really devastated by Gerrard leaving. But after those two farcical summers, particularly the last one when he asked for a transfer, I’m now beginning to wonder if a parting of the ways has become absolutely necessary for the club to get back on the right track.

Yes quality they may be. But NOT world-class. LFC have only 'one' solitary world-class player and fans are advocating him leaving.

We're already steaming down to mediocrity, this would put us be the final nail in the coffin for me. I'm stick of effing possibilities, i'd prefer a trimmer squad that had genuine class, who could potentially challenge.

Arsenal, Scum and obviously Chelsea have 2/3 world class players in their squad and we have one.

I actually think that hyypia, riise, carragher, Finnan, Gerrard, Alonso, Sissoko, Kuyt and Crouch are all world class

I think people are harsh on Gerrard.

Does anyone have any idea where we'd be without Gerrard over the past 5 years ?

Besides, who is to say Rafa wouldn't piss away the 35m gained from Gerrard's sale ? I for one wouldn't trust him with that money.

He's as close to an irreplaceable player as we'll ever get. Rafa's not an irreplaceable manager, in my opinion.

Not for one minute am I disputing that, but the past is the past. At the moment he's playing garbage, looks unhappy and his very presence seems to be causing us problem after problem. I for one am growing sick to death of the sideshow.

I feel the same. I was gutted beyond words when I thought he was leaving before. Now as much as I want him to stay if he left I'd be relieved in a way as I am so bored of all this crap. Its almost become Steven Gerrard FC in the eyes of the media as how and where he is playing is all they talk about.

Maybe i`m wrong, but it comes across to me as though a hell of a lot of people support steven gerrard, rather than support liverpool.
