I don't even think he's played any reserve matches, yet we are set to throw him back in from the start if the rumours are to be believed.
If he's fit, he's fit. And we've seen in the past with Danny that he doesn't take five games to get into his stride.

I would have thought if Sturridge was fit he won't start he would be on the bench and come on for the last 20 or so.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I would've thought that, I'm not concerned about him getting injured, more about having match fitness to last. Better to have him as an option off the bench as opposed to starting and nothing happens.

I'm sure he'll come off the bench. He'd be no where near match fit & he'd be lucky to last till half time. 20 or 30 mins would be smarter IMO.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Feels like a cup final tomorrow.

If the changes to the team are made that have been staring us in the face, then the season could begin again tomorrow. It has felt like we have had so many opportunities to put our poor form behind us but we have not taken them.

If Sturridge is anywhere near the team, it will provide a massive lift to all of us. I'd go as far as to say the same if Lovren is left out.

A good win would be great after these months of ****e.

If we play the diamond tomorrow and do well I'll be ver relieved. But I will wonder why it took so long to play it.

If that is the team, and I hope it is (someone told me heard rumour Sakho & Sturridge would start)... why the **** did he not try this out 4 games ago? If it was his intention to play two up top with Benteke & Sturridge, which seems logical. Why has he persisted with Benteke in an isolated role upfront when we have a perfectly good partner in Ings?

If true and he is starting with Sturridge from scratch, it stinks of desperation. Is he listening to the cries of the fans all of a sudden when he has finally realised his setup is all wrong?

                      Baffling.

Isn't he the lad who robbed the team off here and posted it as his own?

I'm not sure starting Sturridge when he's had no football for so long is a good thing, I would have brought him back slowly 20-30mins and given Ings a start

Why didn't he play Ings or Origi with Benteke? Or Firmino?

Suddenly Dans back and we are changing formation again? Yet play 3421 in midweek? This is all getting ****ing stupid.

Must feel good to get them retweets.

If that's the team I'll be proper happy though.
