I swear that I've never seem more lazy journalism than has been generated by this.
If I read another article that claims Klopp didn't 'reinvent the wheel' or that his appointment won't alter the fact we are the 5th richest club in the PL ..... *
* I may be forced into sending a waspish tweet to the journalist in question. An event that will no doubt alter the course of human history.

John Cross was on the money with the Suarez story in all reality from the Arsenal perspective. What he got wrong was everything from the other side. Football changes in an instant and as soon as Suarez was staying LFC fans gave it to him with both barrels. I think he is still bitter about that.
Not to mention, Arsenal fans have been clamouring for Klopp to take the Arsenal job after Wenger for years. They're probably lucky that they whooped United before all this came about, had the result been the other way around they'd be going mad.
I think the journos as a whole will love him with his comments, ala Jose if you like, but love and hatred for Liverpool is split down the middle. When LFC were near to the title the amount of glory heaped upon us by the press was insane, but always in the background were some very bitter hacks who hold sway with other clubs.
John Cross is first and foremost a hack who covers Arsenal and he is a big Gunners fan. Sticking the knife into LFC helps him out so he's always going to do that.
That kid is clearly running towards the person with the camera, yet when the kid gets ****ted by the dog they just carry on like nothing has happened. I know the kid bounces straight back up, but for a split second you'd expect a bit of reaction.
Anyway, John Cross is a prat really and when a reporter for a big national lets personal option overtake reality in the way it has done for him it's very unprofessional. Should have been sacked years ago. BOOM ! As he is prone to saying.
Liverpool are the ideal club for Jurgen Klopp to manage after leaving Borussia Dortmund according to German national team manager Joachim Low.
Low was full of praise for the work done by Klopp in Dortmund and the World Cup winning coach feels his compatriot can bring similar success to Liverpool.
Negotiations between Klopp and the Merseyside club are understood to be progressing well and Low argued there are strong similarities between Dortmund and Liverpool, which suggest Klopp can restore the club to the top of English football.
“I think there are strong parallels between Dortmund and Liverpool with the passion and size of their support,” said Low, ahead of Germany’s European Championship qualifier against the Republic of Ireland. “I think it is a good fit.
“I’m not party to the negotiations between Liverpool and Mr Klopp so I don’t know how they are progressing, but if an agreement can be reached it will be good for both.
“Mr Klopp, if you look back, was fantastically successful, exceptionally successful at Dortmund. He unleashed a lot of emotion in Dortmund supporters and [he can do the same for Liverpool.]
German captain Matt Hummels, who played for Klopp for many years at Dortmund was also full of praise for his former boss adding: “There is no doubt he is a fantastic coach, a great coach.
“When people put their minds to the question about what he is going to do post Dortmund, then clubs Liverpool had to enter the frame.
“He lives, breaths and thinks football day after day. He is a fantastic addition to any side and I will certainly keep my fingers crossed for the next step in his career.”
