Just makes me wonder whether he was a Rodgers or a Transfer Committee signing? If the former, I don't think Rodgers knew where (or how) to play him to get the most from him
I just think the disconnect between midfield and the rest of the team under late period Rodgers made many players look bad.

Everything points to Firmino (young potential) as the TC and Benteke (prem proven) as Rodgers

Barrett and the rest said Firmino was a TC buy and Rodgers begrudgingly agreed to take him on the proviso we also bought Benteke.

The problem is they arent quick enough and they were soon outpaced by the recovering defenders
I think he will look to buy a quick wide player in January unless we can get Markovic back. I still think ibe is too raw yet to contribute properly at this level.

It was interesting that on the Guardian podcast they blamed the equalizer as much on our players tiredness as individuals. You do wonder if we will keep letting things slip for a while before we get the levels of fitness needed to make Klopps system work, or he may have to adapt it to the way the PL works.

No doubt about it. I mentioned before signing Klopp, that his style of play would be very hard to implement mid-season. Both running patterns and fitness takes a different pre-season to optimize. We have to do that work now, and it will likely cost a bit on the match preperations and standard plays,

Training wise the players are going through a mid season pre season to get up to super human running levels....

I get that they want to report this sort of thing. But whose interest is it in that people know that now?

Rodgers/Transfer Committee. Its all the same to me, especially now that we have a new manager in charge?
