I'm actually looking forward to this, I think Watford can be a watershed in epically **** performances and drive us on to better things. Bit like Hull away was our nadir in 2013-14.

In short, I think we'll do them and kick on from there, hopefully with a new keeper in the door in january and a centre back partnership for the rest of the season that doesn't include Skrtel.

1 Is Migs fit again? (Was he really ever injured?)

2 Are we really sure a defence with Toure in it is the best way of defending against such a mobile front two? What are the alternatives? And do we need to chain our full backs in more defensive roles this time so that Toure's lack of pace is not exposed?

3 I have thought Milner has been distinctly average for weeks, but without him we looked even worse. Can was a bit headless chicken last week and needs a break. So two of Milner, Hendo and Lucas plus lil' Phil?

4 We have to get goals back into this team and I just don't see Divock and think goals yet. Lallana, Firminio, and Benteke for me.

1. Dunno, but it was supposed to be slight so think so.

2. No, but it might be the best though, Lucas didn't seem to be confident but it was a **** game, I'd say it was between them in Lovren doesn't make it, which he might.

3. Assuming Lucas isn't in defence, then him Can and Hendo.

4. We need proper pressing, Milner wide, Lallana and Origi for me. Huth will be up for Benteke.

Top 4 is not happening this year, that much is clear at this stage. Even in a league so remarkably in flux with old traditions and dependables gone out the window, any team losing to Watford or Newcastle and meekly handing over the lunch money to the likes of West Brom etc. will easily and quickly find that there are at least four other teams better than them (if not more).

The job of work that Klopp faces has been revealed to be massive, now that the smoke of his appointment has cleared a little. We're in massive trouble all over the field by the looks of it, it'll be next season before we can expect a consistent upward swing I think.
