Our issues are that this is a club full of ****houses and pussies. Non of them have any belief, confidence or fight. Even yesterday Lucas was trying to act all hard, but it wasn't really, he was just whinging to the ref and although he did almost knock the giant bog brush out, Screetch was still running around kicking people all game and making a nuisance of himself at set plays. Is a proviso of being club captain an ability to ping one from 35 yards? He had one wild effort from 30 yards and he tried a dipper (think Garcia v Juventus) but got too much on it. His other two efforts of note included one cross-shot he dragged just wide and then one were he went for placement.

But ignoring all that, players have so much protection in the elite leagues that there is no rough and tumble any more. Posters harking back to days of crunching tackles and flying elbows are just reminiscing; It's a different game. Stoke v Arsenal and not a single booking? Even Clattenburg struggled to get his cards out yesterday.

The issue yesterday was not what you parped above, but more a lack of a genuine goal threat and a cutting edge.

We should work with what we already have, improve them and see where we are next year. We've bought enough players over the last two years. We have Gomez, Ings, Sturridge, Coutinho and a few others to return and possibly Matip on a free.

If we do that we won't get CL football. The squad is full of mediocrity.

He just did what he could to get it on target after ****ting himself on every other chance going for power. Placement would've been putting it into a corner, unless his aim was to put it nicely into De Gears arms.
Im not basing my opinion on one game either. This is his whole Liverpool career I'm talking about. Im not sure I've ever seen anyone with worse composure in front of goal than him, Lolana and Milner. All three of them are dire.

We're laughably bad at finishing. Its comical watching players that get paid so much money **** up chance after chance. Look at Benteke FFS. It is very frustrating that Man United took the points. To take 6 off us for the second year in a row is very annoying.

But in reality, they robbed us. They had their goalie to thank that they were still level and then scored the one chance that our defence gave them. Very frustrating. And what is a big kick in the stones is that we NEVER seem to rob a game like that. We always seem to have to play well to win. I don't think that our team has that mentality to hang in there and win a game. The last time i remember us hanging in when we didn't deserve to win was probably the 2006 cup final.

But if we had a proper goal scorer, then we win that game. If that season where we nearly won the league has thought us anything it is that having goals in your team is the most important thing. We had a terrible defence that season as well and we were a cunt hair away from winning the league.

So for me, whilst Mignolet isn't the best goalie that we could have, and while Moreno can't really defend properly, and while Lucas is okay but can't seem to play 2 games a week, and while Lallana does **** all apart from close the opposition down, and while Milner isn't as good as he was, and while Ibe is still too raw and seems to be lacking confidence, NONE of that should be LFCs priority to rectify this summer. We just need goals. We ****ed it up with the Benteke signing but hopefully we can add players this summer that will add goals to the team. If we can do that, then we will improve more than rectifying all of the other issues that people rightly point out.
