I think there'll be at least 5 new faces in the first team and 2/3 squad additions, I just hope it's not the transfer committee signing the players but ones that have been identified by Klopp and his team.

I wish it were as simple as FSG making a unilateral decision to solve the problem. It requires something broader and will likely need sport to be treated differently in law. Which won't happen as all the interests are to the contrary. I think the bubble will have to burst, sadly.Originally posted by G View PostIf we reduced prices other clubs would be forced to follow cos their own fans wouldn't stand for it so we wouldn't have to squeeze the fans to close the gap in revenues. And there are other ways, like not buying loads of over priced **** players and not paying way more than our rivals in agents fees at the same time. FSG had a chance to lead the way and put the fans first, whats £2m in the scheme of things? A fraction of an agents fee most likely but a reduction of the same amount would make a difference to those who go the game.

did we sell someone on the last days of the window because on the 28th it looked like: http://www.themag.co.uk/2015/08/prem...-second-place/Originally posted by Fredo View Post7th highest according to that.
So, we're not over exceeding ourselves, especially when you see the likes of Leicester spending the same amount and Spurs and Arsenal spending even less.

I agree, but it should happen after the spine happens. Limited money won't go very far unless we abandon our usual way of buying players (several players in the mid bracket) and go for the two or 3 in the very top bracket. It'll take a few windows to get to the wingers.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostI understand your point. My counter-argument (I truly believe we need a striker, don't get me wrong) is that we need goals from other sources, and wide players who can make space, and make penetrating runs will not only help in creating chances, but score goals themselves.
I think we need at least one winger along with the other positions you mentioned.

kinda what I was trying to say....my 'protest' if u like isn't aimed at the £77 ticket and I think the point may have been missed a bit, the 77th minute/£77 was just used to highlight the issue. For me it's not just a high ticket price that is what's going wrong.
I don't know what will happen, but sport is ****ed. And football is the worst of the lot. When you've got fifa as a governing body, well from top to bottom the whole thing has gone completely ****.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

The arse end will fall completely out of it one day though. The only thing short of that I can see helping ticket pricing is if safe standing is introduced.Like blood on iron
