On the face of it, it's not a bad result and you can't put your finger on why we didn't score. There's no glaring deficiency. It's just the little things that add up for me: A bad corner, an underhit pass, wrong pass choice, weak shooting..over the 90 minutes these all add up into an average display. So many small errors in our play and that's just down to the fact that alot of these players aren't at the top level that we want them to be. Coutinho and Sturridge are the exceptions.

I guess I've said it a hundred times but I don't feel with Henderson as captain, we have the necessary drive and belief to go out and win games. In fact, I don't think we've actually beaten a side that has 'turned up' so to speak. When was the last time we grinded out a result against a vibrant and energetic side. We just can't do it. Only win against poor opposition ot teams that have an off day. The table doesn't lie in that sense.

          The match was dull.

I despise the 'shielding' rule. How the **** can what Milner did and what Firmino did both towards the end of the second half be fouls against the Augsberg player. THe Firmino one in particular was laughable that the opponent jumped into him while looking at the man not ball and the assistant substitute apprentice tea boy or whatever ****ing stupid title those useless ****s behind the goal have? He was the sum of **** all millimeters away from it and didnt spot what really happened

            I hear ya!

Yep, would have been good to have scored, but I'd hope with this team gaining fitness and understanding we should have too much for them at home.

But I agree, we aren't going to spank everyone 6-0.

Nil nil away in Eorope with the second leg to come is not a bad result. We were never in any trouble tonight, and Sturridge should have scored.
We'll get em ****ted at Anfield then win the cup a few days later.

Can, Henderson an Milner is our worst midfield combo, they just cancel each other out

If this is the first team we wanted rested for the cup final I hope they all get injured (except Coutinho and Sturridge obviously). Bring out Tex, Branno and Chirivella for the final.

Henderson, Can and Milner must see that they are all at risk this summer if they keep performing at such a listless level of mediocrity.

More minutes for Sturridge and Coutinho.

In the grand scheme of things tonight was of little importance, we essentially have a game at home to go through.

I was disappointed in Firmino tonight.

Can really worries me. He looks so slow in the midfield. Hopefully he just needs a break. And Henderson right now is far from the level he's previously shown. I think these two among with Milner will be dropped to the bench next season more often then not...
