Well done Klopp, something Roy couldn't manage either.
    Is that 2-0 at half-time?

Because I remember us leading QPR 2-0 in the second half, and then they won 3-2 under Dalglish. It was the Coates wonder goal.

Was the decision to make Flanagan captain the right one? Would Can have been a better choice? We really went to pieces in the second half, we needed a leader on the pitch.

A real chance to put some pressure on those around us chasing fourth and we go and **** it up in one half of football. And it wasn't as if we rode our luck in the first half of football! We looked accomplished in all areas of the pitch and were good for our first half lead and that's what makes it so frustrating. A complete Jekyll and Hyde performance.

Flanno had a poor game imo. Sounded great initially but yeah probably not the right decision.

It's Liverpool all over. Zero consistency, bottle it when it matters. That game should have been dead and buried before the two disastrous subs. The arse fell out of us when the going got tough, nothing new there.

Klopp confirming Lovren not injured. Thought he was in danger of losing his head.

                  Same as Sunderland.

Main problem with our squad is we have no winners and one of the worst mentalities throughout the squad than any Liverpool team I have ever seen.

We need not only some better players but also players with a stronger mentality. We don't even have a proper captain.

I missed the game, and I doubt I'll watch any highlights. Based on reports Skrtel and Big **** Chris have reaffirmed everyones opinion of them.

Its a shame, because we have been in excellent form of late. Surely these 2 can now be identified as weak links by Klopp and we can move on. Definately a mistake to put Marty on when we had Kolo on the bench, who is reliable and can come of the bench and quickly adapt to the pace of the game.

Tekkers... well there is not much else really to be said. If we can recoup £20mill or so we qan count ourselves lucky.

I hope Juventus weren't watching that match...

In fairness to Klopp, I would say that he has dragged us up from a quagmire of **** and nobody REALLY though that Skrtel would be as bad as he was. That has got to be the worst individual performance that I can remember - including Stewart and Piechnik.

Not sure it was a Jekyll and Hyde performance as I was never comfortable even in the first half. I think the game was too open then. We exploited their deficiencies well and should have been 3-0 at half time, but they were always in the game due to Southampton's change of shape in the first half as they started getting the better of our midfield.

Having Skrtel on the pitch second half didn't help it was obvious he was not ready. Was off the pace, never won his duels and was positionally all over the shop. Klopp looked frustrated and he should be. He should blame himself today.
                          Are we winning?

I'll go take a **** on the floor at work and my manager should get done for hiring me.
The players (subs) didn't perform but the manager had better options on the bench.

Bigger picture - I'd rather Klopp make mistakes this season (use the time to decide who stays and who goes).
                            Another MASSIVE game

He should have trusted him, he's been booked early before and done fine. If he had to come off then we had a centre half on the bench who's been immense whenever called upon recently. Just cant get the thinking behind that at all, I mean it was just days ago Skrtel made a complete show of himself in a reserve game for **** sake!! Complete ease after a rampant first half to complete fear when I saw him coming on, it's pretty obvious his team mates feel the same too as they all turn to jittery wrecks when he's about.

Our fixtures look seriously kind on paper, what a complete **** up of a good chance for top 4.

Flanagan didn't have the greatest game, but did fine in the first half, yes he is inexperienced as captain, but I don't think having a stronger leader out there makes much difference with captain chaos in the centre of your defence.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
