At this stage I think I would like to give the Europa a miss ... as much as I enjoyed our adventures ... the thought of Jurgen Klopp with time on his hands to work with his team next season is too tempting

I think this is Klopp's thinking too...never mind finishing low in the league, he doesn't want to piss about with the Europa again....it's either **** or bust now, winning Europa and getting to the CL, or missing out on Europe altogether.

We would too. 4th place is only eliminated if two teams from outside the top four both win their European cups.

We will do somewhere down the line I am sure but the knock on effect will mean it is someone we have not heard of. Any of the bigger teams will just be pushed into earlier rounds until ultimately a team from the early qualifiers gets bumped into Europa

Yah, Klopp was told by the interviewer after the game that we would go straight into the group stage not the qualifiers

Apart from the obvious there's a lot a stake for both us and Seville in the final. Both teams are outside of the CL and EL qualification in their respective countries

Yeah, I agree, but I think we will, and should, approach this game as a final where we can we a good bit of silverware. There is no cup for finishing 2-4th. I can't bloody wait
