There is no way Klopp will drop him.

He wasn't great against Bournemouth, but he's kept a few clean sheets before. He could do with having Matip and Lovren both fit and playing for the next 10 or so games, because he mainly looks like he is trying a bit too hard to me. A settled defence will help him big time.

Karius was poor no doubt but had been showing some more promising signs in his previous games. I think it would ruin the lad to drop him now. Its not like Mig is going to given us much better anyway.

This. Why drop a lad when his replacement isn't any better? If he goes to pieces completely over the next few games we'll have no choice but not after one game in which he made one error, two at a push.

Karius hasn't made any obvious howlers either, he could have done better on a fe goals for sure but that's it.

Look at Bravo at City on the other hand - he's having a genuine nightmare, and costs them a goal a game easily.

Yup, he didn't play well for sure last game but a number of players could have the same said about them. Klopp has clearly made Karius his number 1 and Mignolet is our number 2 I can't see a change being made I think the game highlighted the deficiencies at the back sans Matip than Karius being the reason why we dropped 3 points.

I wouldn't be overly shocked to see us looking again next Summer at a keeper but most likely due to Mig being got rid of and competition being brought in for Karius

I don't think he is a bad keeper, but we need him to play better than he has done so far, maybe he is still getting used to league and will improve with time. We need to make sure he doesn't get distracted by off the field stuff and hope that he can focus on improving his game.

I think he'll end up being a good signing... but it's going to take a while, even longer now that hes getting the same stick from the home support that Mignolet gets.
