can;t be any worse than AchterburgOriginally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostHope there is nothing to it. Casillas plays like an old man these days, and whilst he is very experienced that would only be good for Karius if Casillas was any good at the coaching side of things.

This will be a big test for Karius tonight.
Ederson has been an outstanding signing for City and probably had a similar effect to Virgil on their defence, but in the past 2 games Karius has outshone him and probably is in better form overall in recent weeks. Some of the mistakes Ederson has made against us, Karius would have got slated for.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'd like to see him start bossing VVD for a change. He let VVD shout at him the other day when it was VVD's fault for playing a **** back pass to him and he looked so meek, ****ing stick up for yourself FFS. If I played with someone like that and they were mouthing off at me every two seconds I'd tell them to bloody well piss off.Originally posted by Snigger View PostHe's still young and a run in the team with coolness of VVD running the back line has had a massive impact on his confidence - he looks like the real deal now, let's hope it continues.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. don;t imagine that many people tell Van Dijk to piss off, I admire your bravery.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI'd like to see him start bossing VVD for a change. I think VVD has played a big part in his improvement though - basically coaching him in games - I'm all for VVD bossing him around, we haven't had a leader at the back since Carra and it's made all the difference.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI'd like to see him start bossing VVD for a change. Special mention for Karius.
Looks a totally different player and makes me wonder what a replacement would add.
Maybe more authority, but that’s something that comes with age/experience.
He makes vital saves and now looks solid - in the basics and dealing with crosses, more decisive.
I think we are fine.

Ah the fatel we are fine remark. Been there before. If you can get one of the best you bring them in, if not you stay as you are. There aren't many top keepers about these days.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostSpecial mention for Karius.

I thought he was average against city. A couple of crosses he didn't look so comfortable with. Don't see how he is any different to Mignolet except for being a little bit more comfortable with ball to feet.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostSpecial mention for Karius.

Sure he can produce some great saves but so could Mignolet.Last edited by Corndog; 11-04-18, 07:54 AM.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

But I see big improvements from him, and I don’t think Klopp will bring a Keeper in so I am going for the positivity!
He looks a lot better and potentially I think there is more to come.
