Still a bit naive at times and would like to see the eradication of punching from him, other that he's showing real promise.

I know it’s a small sample size (4 months) but very positive signs

Yeah, hopefully he continues to develop. I'm still not completely convinced he's the best solution long term, but I'm happy to be convinced

And to be fair, Neuer have hardly needed to make a save for years, the Bundesliga is that one sided by now

no doubt the arrival of thunderbird one has greatly helped karius's keeping stats.

He's made some decent long range saves. We don't seem to be conceding many chances in the box, even city barely managed over 2 legs

His decisiveness in the box is refreshing. He doesn't seem to flap, often making a decent connection with his fist or just catching the ball (and the defender's head along with it!)

That was a major weak wristed flap in the first half, and a pretty weird one at that. He's doing alright, but not quite well.

Having said that his opposite number was quite good at getting the ball out of the net.

He was the only one attempting to slow us down when Roma got back into the game, which was a relief. Yeah, it was a bit **** from Kolarov's effort, but no other complaints, and I'd still be happy seeing him as our No.1 next season.

plenty of good practice for allison for when he signs for us and has to have lovren and moreno in front of him.

I think that's probably going to happen. He's not proving a weak link so it's fair enough.

If he'd given up so easily on the 2 Salah crosses that Allison couldn't get to he'd have been crucified on here.

Yeah, I didn't think Allison looked that special, he doesn't look like a 60 million upgrade on Karius at least.

If you look at that shot he flapped at in slow motion, it appears to be rising but dramatically dips and I think this catches Karius off guard, hence the lasting second hands up.
