Weak mentally before this. His confidence will be shattered now. Damaged goods.

Was the first time the name Rab Douglas popped into my head in about a decade. That’s on you Karius.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostYep, it was the worst goalkeeping display in the history of finals in the champions league. I cant see him being able to play for the club againModifying post.

The second one was one of those fluke mistakes you see from time to time. Ball moving fast and swerving. That's the one where I can go "FFS" but still see it as a fluke thing.
The first one though was a cock up of his own making. Be it a lack of concentration, a total ignorance to who was close to him, or whatever. It was still a situation in which he was the guy in control and he is the one that effed up. It was the sort of mistake that would stun you to see in a Sunday league game.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

No way. I’d rather be beaten fair and square than feel injustice which is what we have to deal with today.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostIf anything the Karius mistakes have made the loss feel bareable.
No team will ever win a game when they lose goals like that, particularly on that stage. It has almost voided the game for me.
What must Real be saying about it, we literally handed them the title?
Worst keeping display I’ve witnessed since the days of big Rab Douglas pulling on the gloves for Scotland.
It was an incredibly cruel game for us. And worst of all because we outplayed them until the injury.
But we’ll be back and stronger next season.

It just feels like we should have won. They weren’t better than us, we were all over them for half an hour. We then got to half time needing g to regroup after the Salah injury.
Then our keeper stepped in.
Dunno, as far as defeats go, it’s a strange one.Modifying post.

The first one is far, far worse.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostHe took a risk, it didn't work out. The second was worse.
And thats with admitting second one is shockingly, embarrassingly, unforgivably bad.
The first one is just unfathomable. It’s football basics, knowing where you are on the pitch and who is around you. Unreal.
We need to look at city, they signed Bravo, he wasn’t good enough so they went and bought Emerson and won the League. We need similar ambition.Modifying post.

VVD mistake cost is a goal when we were 3 up. Karius mistake cost us the lead in the Final. Not ideal for sure but not costly at all.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostSimilar poor decision making cost us against Citeh in the

If Van Dyck had ****ed up and cost us the final we’d be talking about him, but he didn’t Karius did.Modifying post.

He needlessly put us under pressure by releasing the ball far too quickly.
Opening minute of the game why are you looking to quickly release the ball to a centre back?
