Pre-Season 2016

Wouldn't read too much into the result. The lads are probably lashing out 3 sessions per day and alot of it is probably high intensity stuff. Tough game, several youngsters playing & in hot and humid conditions. What's most important IMO is that we have high quality opposition to test ourselves against in pre season. It's great for the lads and youngsters to be pitted against high quality players, so when the Arsenal game comes we'll have already been tested by real quality.

Roll on the next few games, looking forward to seeing how we progress over the next couple. If it's a case where we still aren't firing come the Mainz game... then i'll be concerned.

The Mainz game comes straight after the Barcelona one, I don't think you can read anything into any game, except for Arsenal.

I expect Klopp will split the squad for those games - with a 50/50 mix of expected Arsenal match squad and U23s (as we now must call them)

I don't think Klopp will play his first 11 in any of those games, sends out the wrong message to the rest of the squad.

Why would you take time out of work to watch a bloody preseason game? I have absolute zero interest in any of this ****e until the competitive games start. That I'm sure will give us all enough to worry about. Best thing about June and July? No giving a **** about football.
