Brilliant win. Probably needed that more than another 4 or 5-1.

People said that Hull last week was the sort of match we’d normally drop points, but there was no way Hull were coming to New Anfield and getting anything. This was always going to be much tougher, away from home, team desperate for points, fighting to save their manager. It was the sort of match that we either win by 4 or lose my one, very rarely do we see the sort of performance we had yesterday. We couldn’t find our rhythm, we conceded the early goal, Swansea and the fans were well up for it and we lost a key player early on, it looked like Burnley all over again. But to come out in the second half and wear them down with wave after wave of attack, despite still not being at our best was extremely encouraging. Swansea will feel hard done by and they played extremely well, but after we got that equaliser there was only ever going to be one winner.

Draw for City and Spurs today and it will be a great way to finish before the International break.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We're not going to blow every side away, it just doesn't happen that way the fact we managed to regroup and grab 3 points is fantastic & to challenge for a league you've got grab these sorts of points when you're playing to your best.
We did start well. And then coughed up the usual present. After they'd had a great chance to take the lead 2 mins before that.

I didn't feel we had any real control in the game. As good as we were in periods, we lacked quality to take chances, and looked too vulnerable on too many occasions.

Im happy, believe me, but I think our mentality is not what it should be at times.

There will allways be "glass is half full" and "glass is half empty" people on here writing. But we are right now in second place! Scoring lots of goals and have by far the coolest manager in the league. Happy days mfs...happy days.

Things are looking great imo. Yes we are not keeping clean sheets which is the only issue, however we have improved defensively and will get better as the defence gels and settles. We will finish top 4.

Very encouraging turn around to take all three points. About ****ing time we spawned a win!

It was a brilliant game to watch. First half was poor, but credit for Swansea for doing what we've been doing to teams all season. It was inevitable they'd run out of steam though. We played really well second half, but we did let them in again

All this bollocks about mentality is exactly that. There's 2 teams playing, it's stupid to think we should be able to play exactly how we want to just because we want to
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I loved how we went from being ****e first half , come out 2nd and turn on the gas.

That is the sign of a team turning into a great one for me.
Upping gears when needed and i dont know what Klopp done with the same players but it just seemed to click

Very impressive turn around for me , dont it against Arsenal and Swans both times away from home when losing. Kahunas starting to show

Had a sinking feeling during the first half that we'd seen this game before over and over again i.e. having momentum and expectation going into it and ****ing it up. Have no doubt that we would've lost that game if it wasn't for Klopp

2 points off the top with the fixtures we had, amazing. Spurs very lucky to get a point against us, that would have had us top.

Good timing for an International break for once.

Still buzzing with this, was nice to win another way i.e. breaking them physically rather than just outclassing them from the 1st minute. Teams cant outrun us (and we dominated the only team that potentially could on their own pitch) and we got more firepower than the rest. It's gonna be a great season!

I thought we were poor all round first half

Second half we were better in possession but I still thought our pressing was off as was our positional play defensively

One thing that surprised me was how often Mane came inside, he skinned the fullback a few times in the first half but second half didnt attempt it much preferring to drift inside. Would like to see him hugging the touchline more as him isolating fullbacks is a nightmare for them

All in all good result but I would like to see us defend better than that

I'm now beginning to believe. The Hull and Swansea games were key for me and both have been negotiated in the way a big team should negotiate them.

This could be a really good season even with Mane going to the AFCoN.

It always feels like something is going to go wrong at Liverpool. They have had spells like this in their recent past and fans of the club tend to get carried away quickly.

                              They're not wrong unfortunately!

This feels different though - like we're on the verge of something special. City losing at the weekend really has blown the whole race wide open.

It always 'feels different' though doesn't it?

That's what makes it so excruciating

But that will always be the case until it is the real deal. Seems like lazy journalism to just say we've had good teams before but still not won the league, rather than point to anything that suggests this side really is up to it or not.

I'm just happy to be along for the ride, it's ****ing enjoyable at the minute
