Won't be the ref that'll decide this game.

If we do our job and play to our level, we'll take these to the cleaners. That will be glorious to watch.
Just need to be wary of making stupid defensive errors around set-pieces, and making sure we punish them when chances present themselves.
Reckon 3-1 (always have to give the opposition one these days).

Cant believe any Liverpool supporter would write that about games v these! Easy to say "if we do our job" but not so easy when they get penalties for nothing and one of ours sent off for **** all. Hopefully this is officiated properly then yes, we will batter them.

****, was only saying the other day that we need a strong ref. And he's terrible.

I think Mourinho will pick Fellaini and we'll have to suffer an aerial bombardment for 90 minutes. The worry is that our defence/keeper isn't able to withstand it, particularly from set-pieces. That said, our midfield and attack should be too much for them and I'd back us to win this game nine times out of ten.

Avoid defeat and we've got a very nice run of fixtures afterwards too.

How can a ref from Manchester be allowed to ref this? Not saying he's a United fan but he can't not be influenced if he's from the bloody city right?
          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It's ridiculous. If we get a decision they moan that he's City and if they get one he's United. He can't win. Why would the authorities choose him ffs? It's just asking for trouble. And in any case, 'Altrincham fan' my arse.

When United get Mike Dean (from the Wirral) they moan like ****. This is worse. He's from Wythenshawe ffs, an absolute hotbed of United fans.

Don't they any rules or policies about these sort of things, either way he's likely to get some flak.

Look at it another way.....with heightened exposure on the week leading up to the game about inferred bias due to geographical concerns, he may be inclined to bias towards a home decision in a 50:50 call.......you just can't say.
With enough media headlines in the runup, the PL will probably have no other option than to reassign.
Who knows ?.......the fella we get instead from London or whatever could make a right balls of a decision against us.

Ultimately, it's down to how we perform in any case in order to not make it be a factor, and we have more than enough for that shower if we apply ourselves as we know we can.

I hate this fixture more than any other unless we win then I'll be replaying it for days afterwards.

I ****ing hate games against these spawny cunts. Hope we batter them but on past history our best players will be injured or banned and if we are on top the ref will hand them a get out clause.

Just need Henderson to limp off and that's the entire first choice midfield out ffs.

Wijnaldum out injured means big Phil Into the midfield where he should be and Sturridge into the attack. We'll mince these cunts (hopefully)
