        Big game this, really is.

We have a fantastic opportunity to progress and move forward and really start to challenge.

We're a better team than United but we need to show them some respect. They're still a huge club, yes their fans are cunts (in the main) and so is their Manager but he is a bit of master at big games and if I'm being truthful he always seems to **** us over.

On the plus side we now have a Manager that can outsmart him, play him at his own game and has a team playing better more positive, progressive football.

I think we will win but it will be a heart attack inducing game as per usual. I'm excited but also scared ****less, hate losing to these pricks.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Ings on 4 times as much as Origi? I'd be on a wage strike!

Ojo on 10k a week having achieved nothing in his career so far is the problem with footy these days. Kids getting paid massive just for being at the club. Not just our club either.

He could get injured tomorrow and never play again. His whole family probably are relying on / looking to him to support them, or elevate their lifestyle.

He's professional footballer, in the first team squad at Liverpool. I don't begrudge him 10k a week in the context of what others are earning.

But ultimately, there is a market for footballers, and that's what determines their wages.

I'd love a blistering start like we did vs Arsenal 3 seasons ago!
previous years when we've had a chance to capitalise on teams around us, we've ****ed it up. It's going to be a battle, if we show up and go at them full tilt, like we can... there's no way they can handle us. Depends on which Liverpool side show up. I think we'll be well up for this.

                    Going to be a battle

Mourinho trying to crank up the pressure on the ref. the bloke is so transparent with his tactics it's going to be his "mind game" and then it'll be spoiling the rhythm of the game whilst launching balls into the box for 90 minutes.

I thought the Managers were expressly forbidden from talking about the referee before a game TBH (then again first the PL have to uphold the rule and if they fine him it will be about 1% of his weekly wage).

so many options if Lallana/Wijna arent fit. Can, Lucas, Coutinho, Milner, Grujic.

Personally I'd like Mane/Firminio/Coutinho up top. Normal circumstance would be Can in but he looks rusty as ****. I'd go Milner and bring in Albie

They are. He's being investigated for it. It's a stupid appointment. Mike Dean can't ref us or Everton (thankfully cos he's ****), Taylor and Mason shouldn't be allowed to ref either Manc club but they are.

You're right - would be disgusting if he doesn't get fined...

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho's comments about the appointment of referee Anthony Taylor for the Red Devils' match at Liverpool on Monday are to be looked at by the Football Association.
                                hopefully the scumbag gets charged.
