LC [H] v Spurs post match musings

Decent work out should have been about 5-0 yet again ending 2-1 and needlessly nervy though no way was that a peno - barely touched him ref!

TAA looked like a future right back to me, Ejaria really grew into the game as the space opened up, Sturridge wasteful in front of goals but the match winner, Origi deserved at least an assist. Elsewhere, Moreno did well then reverted to type, Grujic had a decent game I thought and got an assist which will do him some good. Ings was well rusty, thankfull that ****house Winks didn't do him many harm it seems.

    Sturridge wasteful.
    Are we winning?

We are such a great team to watch. Thought we were excellent again for much of the match. My MOM would have gone to Wijnaldum - what a shift and I don't think he gave the ball away once.

11 changes, a win, goals from Sturridge, beating Spurs, TAA and Ejaria look like stars in the making, Gini a vital cog in midfield, Origi looked in beast mode again, Grujic quietly effective and Ings got a run.

All in all a good nights work.......our corners are ****e though!

Didn't see the game but I hear we were comfy and wasteful and then just let one in. Have to cut out the goals and stop inviting unwanted pressure.

Wijnaldum is so consistently good. All of that transfer committee crap seems like like ages ago, we've bought well and are using the new players well.

Yeah I think the transfer committee is now officially defunct.

                That pass

Thought the first half - after a bright first 15 or so - was muck but the 2nd half was very enjoyable. I loved Grujic nicking the ball all over the place, TAA was fantastic and is a future England right back, Ejaria got better and his ability to win free kicks whenever the **** he feels like it was Hamann-esque. Origi had a great 2nd half, Sturridge was Sturridge and could have had four....we have some real depth now and it's all because we have the best manager in the world.

What about Ingsy Shaggy - he looked pumped up. You reckon he'll be on the slots for the rest of the night

Was willing him to score. I feel so sorry for him. He's never going to be a regular.

Mauled them. 8 or 9 wouldn't have flattered us. So much firepower, Ings would probably start for 13 or 14 teams in this league and he's our 4th choice striker! Godjic played really well, Trent is god, loved his celebration for the 1st and going for the hug when it looked like Klopp was just gonna shake his hand!! Wijnaldum is so good, hardly ever makes the wrong decision, great vision around the box, can see why it didn't work for him at Newcastle (according to their fans anyway), imagine putting a smart player like that around thick cunts like Mitrovic and co?!

                          Jon Moss is fat filth.

I was thinking that as well.
