Thought the lad at rightback was the brightest of all the young players on the pitch

    He looks a real prospect

Sturridge is great in the final third but I still think he has a lot of work to become a regular in this system under Klopp

Was impressed by Origi particularly second half once again showed hes a real threat and (take note Sturridge) he will actually work hard in closing people down

All in all good result and performance

Origi looked sensational for that 15 minute spell in the second half before he was stamped on and pulled up injured. It looked worrying at the time as he was being treated (and looking pretty concerned) for the foot Funes Mori nobbled him with in the derby.

Sturrige was a funny one last night - sure he scored the goals and stole the headlines, but off the ball he looked disinterested and looked like he was holding back on some through balls.

Thought Kevin Stewart did well - he handled the physical side of the Spurs thuggery and was sensible in possession, popping it off and intercepting well. TAA was decent too, any other kid might have wilted when he was strong armed by Nkoudou in his first tussle - though I reckon that contributed to his massive tackle on Ben Davies - he got away with that because he was young, I've seen sendings off for less. Some of those drilled cross field passes from Grujic were encouraging too - very Gerrard-esque. He's massive too!

Good run out for the 'second team'. That spine of Lucas-Klavan, Stewart-Grujic-Can, Sturridge-Origi provides excellent cover for the first team.

One thing that continues to crack me up - the art of tackling by Alberto Moreno
              Another MASSIVE game

Moreno played well last night I thought.

He even thought twice about diving into a tackle that would give away a pen - which is a marked improvement.

Depends on the context of how they ended up on the attack, the way we play we're always likely to leave some gaps at the back.

That being said I'm not a fan of mad Albert and I'd hope to see someone else coming in to push Milniho for that left back slot

That photo is completely unfair, we had control of the ball and Ejaria tried a ridiculous pass and gave the ball away.

                          He had a decent game.

There is always a scapegoat though.

Poch and Spurs are a poor man's Klopp and LFC and they know it. They were being lauded for their approach and then Klopp arrived and did it better than they ever could and with miles more flair. Kills them.

Oh and Moreno nearly gave away a penalty after the Lucas one which was never a pen anyway but I still don't like him being on the pitch. He's an accident waiting to happen.
