But in doing so he took the ball off the strikers foot. It was a very important challenge that helped stop them scoring and it wasn't a foul. I really think people look for the negative in everything he does. He played well.

The penalty wasn't a penalty either but it was given. It was a risky move. It came off but he's panic attack waiting to happen and that's all there is to it, if he wasn't he'd be first choice.

Sounds like a more accurate description of Lucas than Moreno. That brain fart for Leicester's goal is worse than anything Moreno has produced for us. Lucas also did concede a pen last night when he didn't even need to make a challenge but there's nothing being said about him. But let's all laugh at how much of a liability Moreno is. I'm not talking specifically about you but I genuinely don't get it tbh. I can only think that it's a bandwagon effect.

Neither are first choice Ken. There's a reason for that.

I'm not convinced by Moreno at all but credit where it's due he had a good game on Tuesday.

Nope it is he's terrible and you're scared every time someone goes near him.

Our manager wouldn't have dropped him for a midfielder if he wasn't an absolute liability.

I don't have that much of a problem with Moreno. He came back in the other night after torrents of abuse knowing ANY mistake would be highlighted and used against him for another month or two and he played well, very well in fact and fair play to him.

looks like Moreno is now being felt sorry for but when he plays I just see mistakes whether it is positioning or wrong footed tackles, and his primary job is left back.

To be honest I would like a new left back long term, same as a keeper then think we are set in all positions.

This of course is exploited by opposing teams like it is with crosses in the box for Mig or Karius when they try and take an advantage from our weak links

That's a fair point regarding he wouldn't have played him at all. However I wouldn't have said he played very well.

He has still been dropped from the main team for a midfielder, I think it's fair to say that unless he does a Lucas style comeback then he doesn't have a long term future here.

smedley has fallen right down the order if he couldn't get picked for the league cup.

Sturridge is great in the final third but I still think he has a lot of work to become a regular in this system under Klopp

Was impressed by Origi particularly second half once again showed hes a real threat and (take note Sturridge) he will actually work hard in closing people down

All in all good result and performance
TAA does make the game look simple doesn't he. Doesn't seem overawed by the step up at all.
