He is becoming exceptional in this number 6 role, something I didn't think he could do. Klopp takes a lot of credit but Henderson is superb.
His current position should hinder his strengths and bring out his weaknesses but he's thriving, he's given been clear instruction, he knows what he needs to do, and where to be. Doesnt need to leg it all over the pitch but be nice and controlled in the middle. We've seen him learn and grow into it since Arsenal/Burnley. He's essentially the only natural midfielder Lallana/Gini are attacking mids. Its incredible, the amount of times the ball breaks free off one of attacks, and how we positionally win it back via Henderson, the full backs, or the forward milling around, shuts down a break before its begun.

And his vision is superb, the ball to Bobby F for the 4th

Thought we might trip up today but yet another fantastic performance. We're just staggeringly good going forward - properly overload the opposition.

Yes we gave away one goal today, and their second was probably avoidable too but we look mentally resilient - even when Palace came at us in the second half we didn't sit back, we coped and then came at them again.

        Magic.

Pressure was on with City and Arsenal winning and facing a tough game against a shower that usually bully us and we deservedly did them over. This Klopp team has balls. We have defensive issues of course but we've let teams back into games a few times this season and always seen out the game to get the win, we never used to do that.

Spurs v Arsenal next week so someone will drop points. I know it seems a daft and simplistic thing to say, but we need to approach it like Leicester did last season. One cup final every weekend. All the focus on that and that alone. One game, one game, one game. There'll be bumps in the road cos that's the way it is but I honestly believe we're the best team in the league and we'll win 9 times out of 10. Cannot wait for Watford now. What a ride this is.

I've not touched a drop and I agree. We've definitely got a 6/7/8 in us if we catch a poor team playing badly.

What a run we are on. Amusing to think how despondent we were after Burnley, we've only drawn twice and won everything else since

Some great performances from our attacking players and was very pleased for Lovren that he atoned for his cock-up. As McManaman said everyone makes mistakes and Lovren has improved significantly this season (perhaps due to Matip taking the pressure off him). Karius is still a worry, but we've just got to stick with him. Firmino and Coutinho were brilliant and Mane worked hard. I thought Lallana was poor today, but he has been excellent this season. Very happy with 3 points and killing the game with the fourth goal so it wasn't a nervy end to the game.

I'm also worried about Karius. But Klopp will stick with him for now. He seems no better than Mig but Klopp must think he has a higher potential ceiling. Our attacking is a joy. Big chance for the title. At this point in time I am worried about nobody else. It's been literally decades since I last felt like this.

Thought Henderson was excellent again today.

I'm still buzzing with that result. This season is going to be very special as toucan just sense Klopp is,building something here which will be sustainable. I just hope and pray that we do not sell our best players in the summer but instead build on what we have here already.

2014 was amazing but ultimately was a massive gut wrenching experience, however I believe unlike then we now have a manager who knows what it takes to win a title.

                            13/14 vs 16/17 (/game)
                            Goals: 2.66 v 2.40
                            Against: 1.32 v 1.30
                            GD: 1.34 v 1.10
                            Points: 2.21 v 2.30

Look at the PPG. After the games we've had, it's on.

It didnt work for Brendan did it?

Anyway I would like us to tighten up but today we really did give away the goals through mistakes

Thought Lovren was poor for both goals today
