[H] PL v Sunderland post match Thread.

    Phew

What was shaping up to be one of those afternoon's turned by Derek's raw power and it must be said the sheer power of Klopp.

Plenty to ponder with Couts out, Firmy limping off, Lallana out for another game (or two) and Sturridge being Sturridge.

Happy for Woodburn, he made one pass and it was a good one.

Think we'll definitely have to dip into the market in January. But anyway. Agreed on all the points of the OP.

Klopp deserves huge credit to get us over the line today.

Really happy for Origi as well. Almost impossible to get into a team when they are the most exciting attack in the league. He's been patient and taken his chance. He's also tailor made for our attack in that his game is very fluid and seems to buy into the press.

Origi could soften the blow of losing Coutinho for a while.

Gerrin!! Be great for us that, a narrow win with the goal coming pretty late. Something we def need to get better at and we are! Seems like everytime I turn the tv on City or Chelsea are playing awfully but win whereas it feels like we often only ever win if we play amazing! Not that we were awful, we utterly dominated for most of the game but we werent near our best. Hard to be buzzing though after what happened with Coutinho. Anything less than months out will be a pleasant surprise, especially annoying as he loves ****ting City and I guess he wont make that game now.

Origi is god. Karius was written off way too early.

So is Coutinho's injury looking bad?
        Are we winning?

No idea but I guessing either a broken metatarsal or it could be a cut that needs stitches hopefully the latter, but I am just guessing
          who's arsed?

i missed klopp whooping the crowd, any vid links for this please.

hes our 12th man now. we need him to whoop the crowd more often
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Big Divock bailed us out. He was good and strong too.

**** it, three points, clean sheet, Origi off the mark, top of the league.

Downsides are Coutinho out, Firmino potentially injured and very slow today.

Said it a couple times, Origi needs to play, he's starter quality. I know the competition is tight right now, but at least he should get more time off the bench.

Really glad we won that, I was losing my **** for a while there. I think we could really do with a couple more spawny, clinical players. I don't think there's anyone in this team that you could bet on to take a chance, even with sitters sometimes.

                    FIRST PLACE!!!

I thought that was Karius' best game for us so far, some brave keeping from him when needed. Mane had a bad day. I really hope Coutinho's injury doesn't keep him out for too long, we really need Lallana back. Excellent goal from Origi, he's a beast of a player. Firmino is a joy to watch, some great touches from him. Not the 7-0 I was hoping for, but three points.

Important win that. Teams show us so much respect, it's unreal.

Credit to the players for plugging away. 3 points another clean sheet
                        Another MASSIVE game

It's fecking annoying now! I think we need to fool the opposition by passing the ball to them in their own third and then pick them off in possession.

I like Divock, think he's the real deal. He's gonna be an important player for us with all the injuries we have. Time to cement your place in the team Origi.
