BT or whoever it was were doing a replay of the previous sequence of play

Was that filmed in the front window of Rumbelow's?

We have a strong enough squad now to challenge and the fact is we are now winning games where we would have drawn it even lost. All looking good, and if we get to January in a similar position....well it will definitely be on!!!

I'd like to add my joy and relief at that result. After reading the first half report and the injuries piling up I was fearing the worst.

Cup game against Leeds potentially without Coutinho, Lallana, Firmino and Sturridge. Possibly need to rest Origi now not to risk him too. Ings already long gone. From too many options up front to almost none in the blink of an eye.

It really had nil all written all over it at half time.

                  Phew!

It was a difficult game but we got the right result in the end, good to see Klopp able to get the crowd going and keep them behind the side.

Hopefully the injury to Coutinho isn't too bad, and Firmino going off at the end was just a precaution.

I read the BBC saying that Origi's goal was a mis-hit cross I'm glad he did well, I like him as a player and think than he is more suited to our current style of play than Sturridge I think that he can slot into the system fairly easily if one of the front 3 are out. I was hoping it would be for Mane in January but it may have to be Coutinho now.

I thought Karius had a good game, didn't have much to do but made a couple of important saves and his distribution was better.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

One of the next big things out of Germany, a wide forward similar to Phil but would cost $$$$$$$

I'd gladly take Dahoud as well though

I really hope Coutinho's injury doesn't keep him out for too long, we really need Lallana back. Excellent goal from Origi, he's a beast of a player. Firmino is a joy to watch, some great touches from him. Not the 7-0 I was hoping for, but three points.
You might have missed him kick a goal kick out for a corner! I've never seen anything like it haha

Surely he was trying to pass to Clyne?

For me that was a huge result. So many times we dominate games, teams park the bus and we struggle to break through. We can either score early and win 5/0 or if we don't score early we seem to struggle to snatch games

We were the better side and deserved to win but it was looking like it was heading towards another frustrating draw... So to pull out the win is huge.

Personally, I was disappointed with can, Henderson and mane. Can I'm not quite sure he fits in at the moment, I really want him to be class, he has the mentality and when playing well looks the part but be moved the ball slowly compared to the rest of the team and when it's not going for him, because he's such a big unit he can look like a cumbersome cart horse.

Hendo for me struggled also he just seemed to bottle it a touch if that makes sense, like the occasion of playing against his boyhood club got to him, he just seemed to lack a bit of conviction at times. Not saying he was poor and I'm not having a big pop at him, I just felt him/can and say wijnaldum also, as a midfield three, at home, against a side we should beat, didn't quite step up and run the show

Anyway that's by the by...we got the win and we move forward with it

Yeah it looked like he wanted to play it wide quickly but off screen, there was a Sunderland player who read it and was starting to make his way over to close down, so I think karius has seen this almost mid strike an tried to pull out and got it wrong.

Seriously tho, it was as bad a cluster **** that hasn't lead to a goal, that I've ever seen a keeper make how on earth do u kick it out for a corner from there
