Seriously tho, it was as bad a cluster **** that hasn't lead to a goal, that I've ever seen a keeper make how on earth do u kick it out for a corner from there
I presumed there must have been a steward in Red he was passing too.

Thought Can looked most likely to be involved in getting a goal yesterday, on another day could have had a hat-trick of assists and goals. Certainly wasn't a poor performance.

      Thought Henderson was OK too.

Agree about Mane, an unusually poor performance from him although he did look better after the goal when Sunderland gave us a bit more space.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Mane was poor yesterday but he's allowed the odd one. Can was great I thought.

Karius did really well but overshadowed his whole performance by kicking a goal kick out for a corner!!! I've never seen that happen before!

Can was certainly putting the effort in, and was attacking more than usual.

I think Mane has been slightly below his level the last few weeks. He looked clinical at the start of the season but his finishing and final ball haven't been great recently.

Jason Denayer played just seven passes despite playing the full match in midfield, while Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson played 128
Jermain Defoe had just 18 touches, two of which were to take kick-offs
Central defenders Lamine Kone and John O'Shea played a total of 10 passes in the Liverpool half. Their opposite numbers Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren played 105 in the Sunderland half

I don't remember seing this, but I do remember Sunderland having a corner which seemed completely made up at the time!! Looks like this is why!

These are really difficult games, teams sit back and camp in their own area and restrict space to a minimum, probably difficult games for Can and Henderson but they play a big part in stopping counter attacks so I understand why we play them both. Origi was sharp and it will be interesting to see what we do next weekend, I would have qualms about starting Origi with Mane and Wijnaldum if the other three are missing.

So you'd be worried or you wouldn't?

no qualms, sorry I think Origi could provide a bit more power and directness.

Karius was clearly bored and decided to create some work for himself. I salute the entrepreneurial spirit.

Someone was on the edge of the area - Clyne I think. He just shanked it spectacularly.
