So glad Wijnaldum played this game over Can. Kept the ball ticking over perfectly, gave Everton's pressing players nothing to sniff at. Almost rendered them useless. HUGE three points. Signs of league champions that.

Everton sacrificed every element of attacking play to just bog us down in a turgid battle and we did enough. Perfect. Makes Spurs and Man Utd's victories feel absolutely meaningless. Hahahahahaha.

Yeah I agree with your Wijnaldum comments there. It's taken me a while to get him and I still think he needs to offer more but he's excellent at keeping the ball and getting it to a red shirt. We definitely need goals from him though.

And yeah Everton were woeful. How the **** did Arsenal lose to them? I'm starting to go off Koeman. He's a bit of a gimp.

Everton fan from work posted on Facebook that 'neither team deserved to win'. I was going to take the piss for such drivel but he also posted that his brother is in Berlin (one of the lucky ones who isn't injured. Feels a bit ****ty to do that now.

Yep. Horrible *******s with their Manc songs again. They know exactly what it means too but then again I've seen them doing face crushing gestures at Goodison too, they are not the friendly local angels they are painted as.

And this is the same Mancs they copy who will come to their stadium and sing Hillsborough and anti Liverpool (the city and us) songs. It's weird as ****, they've got so wrapped up in us they've lost any pride or self respect. I know I call everyone a nothing club but they really are. They are just there, existing, doing nothing, more interested in us. It's so strange. I get rivalry, this feeling tonight wont be topped unless we win something but they are completely consumed by us. They sign a player and it's not "oh yes great signing" it's "He's better than x at Liverpool". They appoint Koeman "He's a bigger football name than Klopp". Kicking off if theres a bit of red on an Everton employee's christmas tree etc etc.

Spot on. They are so bitter, so angry, so poisonous. It's by a mile the angriest ground I've ever been to. If they were like that all the time - that kind of hostility for everyone and not just reserved for us - you'd admire them. But they're just laughable, a breed unto themselves and frankly a boil on the arse of a great city.

Was listening to an interview with Howard Webb the other day. Said Everton was the WORST place to run the line. As any decision that went against them at home was met with nothing but vitriol and venom. Even a clear foul from one of their lot and the Linesmen gets dogs abuse.
