We wouldn't need him to be great with the ball and neither do Chelsea and neither did Leicester. His job to win win the ball back and give it to someone who can do something with it.He would be absolutely perfect for Klopps tactics. Mobile, athletic, pacey, hard working and aggressive. Our game is based on countering in the transition, Kante would be perfect to do that. That's not going into the pressure he would take off our defence and covering for our other midfielders when we get caught on the break.Originally posted by Fredo View PostNot sure he's better than Can with the ball though and I think Klopp prefers two ball players alongside a passing controlling player.
Best player in the world in that position imo the best purchase by any club this season. Can is bang average on the ball anyways.Last edited by danperkins; 31-01-17, 11:47 PM.

He's a ****ing brilliant footballer, he is everywhere and he makes football look effortless.
He covers acres of ground, he's there in a heartbeat. He's strong, nicks balls, plays balls, gets nice close passes into feet instead of walloping them 40 yards.
He is exactly what you want. He never moans, he gets back into position as quick as the position he found himself in, disciplined and very rarely dirty in the tackle. You really couldn't ask for any more from a teammate, a real team player and a very talented one at that.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

To be fair, we did both mention that we expected a good perfomance against Chelsea straight after the WolvesOriginally posted by Fredo View Post
I noticed him in the last 10 minutes when we started tiring. Maybe it says more towards his superb fitness levels after chasing the ball for 80 minutes and he was still running.
I'd have another a technical type player to complement Henderson but he is the undisputed No. 1 in his position at the moment, unless Klop changes formation next season.
I think we're class with our first XI but it's been disappointing that the fringe players havent been able to carry us through the tough fixtures
