I'd swap him for Can in a heart beat

Not sure he's better than Can with the ball though and I think Klopp prefers two ball players alongside a passing controlling player.
      Are we winning?

Good performance at last. Hull need to put everything in tomorrow's game against Man U because we have Mane coming for them. Sit back all they want!

We wouldn't need him to be great with the ball and neither do Chelsea and neither did Leicester. His job to win win the ball back and give it to someone who can do something with it.He would be absolutely perfect for Klopps tactics. Mobile, athletic, pacey, hard working and aggressive. Our game is based on countering in the transition, Kante would be perfect to do that. That's not going into the pressure he would take off our defence and covering for our other midfielders when we get caught on the break.

Best player in the world in that position imo the best purchase by any club this season. Can is bang average on the ball anyways.

Kante usually has passing % in the high nineties.

It's not hyperbole to say that if you added Kante to our squad we'd win the league or come close. I said that last season as well and in the window. A world class player absolutely no question.

He's a ****ing brilliant footballer, he is everywhere and he makes football look effortless.

He covers acres of ground, he's there in a heartbeat. He's strong, nicks balls, plays balls, gets nice close passes into feet instead of walloping them 40 yards.

He is exactly what you want. He never moans, he gets back into position as quick as the position he found himself in, disciplined and very rarely dirty in the tackle. You really couldn't ask for any more from a teammate, a real team player and a very talented one at that.

Well that's blatantly not true because his season passing percentage isn't even 90% let alone high nineties.

Thought we were good for the most part tonight but we've got an annoying habit of giving stupid cheap chances away. Chelsea created **** all for 90 minutes bar what we gave them from stupid lapses.

The fawning over Chelsea tonight was ludicrous

High nineties is preposterous. It's 88% on average.

                    Are we winning?

Is Kante any good? Is he better than Emre Can what a crazy conversation.

I'd have another a technical type player to complement Henderson but he is the undisputed No. 1 in his position at the moment, unless Klop changes formation next season.
To be fair, we did both mention that we expected a good perfomance against Chelsea straight after the Wolves

I think we're class with our first XI but it's been disappointing that the fringe players havent been able to carry us through the tough fixtures

Really. Mmm. Maybe he passes better at home. Regardless. His game is as a destroyer and there's not many better at mopping up that I can think of

Kante is class but also very different from Can. Strange comparision to make really.

A fully fit Mane & coutinho he'd not be playing

Yeah. Kante is ****. Should really be passing at 100% FFS.
