I can't believe anyone was confident we would win tonight. Looking at our remaining games I struggle to see any wins. We struggle against **** teams. That's all we have left. No Mane is the defining moment. It's same old.

We were the better team and at 2-1 you expect a top team to see the game through. The absence of Mane was irrelevant today. Over the course of the remaining 7 games it might well be though, which makes it even more difficult to accept a result like this.

You just know that Stoke and West Brom is going to be cross after cross after cross. Bombard us as we are a model to concede that way. I don't know if I'm furious or just deflated. It just seems to happen every time to have a chance to take advantage.

Yeah Stoke is going to be grim. Crouch and Adam will play, probably Walters too, they give us hell at Anfield for 20mins - 25mins. We've not even won away in this league this year have we?! If we win there it'd be seriously, seriously impressive. Hard to make a case for it though, we can dominate for 89mins, play well and still concede 2 or 3 goals. I wish we were away to Chelsea or Arsenal instead, even with the injuries! That is so ****ed up.

And even worse we've got the 4th place experts chasing us, as many faults as they have they are also brilliant at getting top 4 done.

To me it wasn't bringing Matip on and going to a back 5 that was the problem it was that Firmino looked completely ****ed and when we looked to play out to him he either lost the ball or just looked knackered

We needed more legs in midfield at that point. I might have been tempted to take Firmino off with 10-15 minutes to go and played TAA in midfield

Yep. And that's on Klopp too. He forces FSG's hand or he threatens to quit. We would have got someone for ridiculous money be it Zaha, Dembele, Pulisic or Redmond.

Hopefully Klopp can swerve becoming our very own Arsene Wenger.

Didn't buy enough last summer and didn't buy anyone in January

Yep, think Klopp said in about September he wants one because Mane will be off etc, you'd think we'd have someone ready to go by Jan 1st, nope, end of Jan at least, nope. I dont doubt it's hard to do business then, every manager says so but we have no replacement for him, theres not one fella in world football that could help us out for a bit? As if!

Anyway I expected us to draw 3, lose 1 and win 4 before tonight. That's one draw out of the way I suppose. I'm hoping we can beat Stoke who have nothing to play for. A week's rest, Matip back and the Brazilians to give us one last push.

You'd have thought the people running our club would have learned from past mistakes but it hasn't happened and we are in the same position again. After Christmas we were in a great position and just needed to add a few over January to really push on but yet again the club decides to swerve spending any money thinking we will just carry on as normal. It was the same story about how there's no value in January but I'm sorry if buying some reinforcements if the difference between 4th and 5th then it's money well spent.

It could have been the difference between winning the title. We were in a great position. They played safe and it serves them right if we miss out.
