the crowd are going to have to play a massive part in this

we've been a very nervous crowd this season and we cant let that seep into the players

I'm nervous and probably the most negative person on this forum but I don't and can't see us ****ing it up, not now even if our home form isn't the best. The players know what's at stake and there's no ****ing way Klopp will let them lose this game because he'll knock **** out of every single one of them if they do.

I know it's not been plain sailing and we've made hard work of it, but our odds are shortening at least.
        OK last time

        Liverpool 1/7
        Arsenal - 6/1

Obviously we could still **** this up, but the odds are massively in our favour.

Seriously? £300 for a £50 bet on Arsenal on one game (well one round of games that is)? That's tempting. For the gamblers on the forum please take one for the team and put money down.

It's weird because the odds on the results that could enable arsenal to qualify are more generous.

Anyway, I've bet against us in an attempt to soften the blow should we do know it up, but I am confident I didn't need to.

£40 on arsenal and Middlesbrough winning pays a grand.

are they? Draw or Boro is 9/2 with an Arsenal win 4/9 seen Boro to win the game at 22/1 with Ladbrokes honestly can't remember seeing a bigger price on an away team

just dont be going to Anfield [you jinx], even if someone gives you corporate tickets and free ho's.

Getting ahead of ourselves, but long story short, 4th means a well dodgy qualifier.

                      Zenit probably won't even qualify.

Yep, even with 4th we don't have the guarantee of CL proper. Which makes me wonder how useful finishing 4th really is in attracting targets who demand CL.

Looking very likely we'll be seeded right now. As long as Dortmund and CSKA see off bum teams on the weekend or just equal Hoffenheim and Zenit's results (and we **** Boro of course).

CSKA won won today so remain ahead of Zenit with 1 game to go in the Russian season. Win the last game and Zenit fail to qualify whatever their result so we become at worst 8th ranked. By virtue of having to consider a play off we will move to 6th because City will have to finish 3rd and Arsenal 5th so City go in the groups and Arsenal out. Dortmund are likely to finish 3rd so we go 5th in the rankings. The Sky Sports article has missed off Olympiacos (3rd qualifying) so we will drop back to 6th and then Ajax beat United in Europa to jump to groups so we go back to 5th before even teams potentially get knocked out of the 3rd qualifying round.

We finish 4th and we'll be seeded. I'm certain of that

Just having a look. I think the biggest spanner in the works would be if Anderlecht finish 2nd in the Belgian league but 4 points ahead with 2 games to go having played 2nd (they do the league split play off thing) I can't see it likely.

Besides i'd give us a better chance against Dortmund (again) than some Austrian part timers.
