This is getting ****in unreal. Matip is a good player, but he should not be considered the spine of this team when we plan our squad, he's never healthy ffs. Him and Lovren are both crocks.

Are there any reliable injury-free players left in this team? We have Sturridge the stick insect, Lovren with his viruses and little knocks, Matip who plays once every 4 games, Henderson with his crooked legs going on 43 games out, Lallana who's missed 28 games through 8 different injuries in less than three years with us (!!!!!), Danny Ings, Lucas and Joe Gomez with their ACLs, Origi and Can who have missed a combined 44 games through 8 injuries...

I was about to say that we should look at players with better injury records, but while I was searching for this data on transfermarkt I noticed that a lot of these players were hardly ever injured before coming here. Either a ****in curse or we're doing something wrong.

I think that guy was always going on about hamstring injuries, and while we did have plenty of those, there have also been a ****load of others, more inexplicable ones. Whatever the cause, the fact is that we're having way too much of that.

I saw some training footage from this week and there was no sight of Grujic also, and he didn't play in our last u23 game, does anyone know what's up with him? Grabara, Woodburn, Wilson, Randall, Taa and Ojo were all training with the first team.

I think most of our injury problems this season have been caused by impacts or tackles, rather than muscle pulls or tears from fatigue or poor recovery - Coutinho, Henderson, Mane, Ings.

Certainly most of the lengthy ones anyway.

In reality, our squad is very short of numbers. IMO you could argue that we need 2 or 3 defenders, 2 or 3 midfielders, a winger and a striker.

This is assuming that Sakho gets sold permo, Lucas is sold and it is decided that Grujic also needs to be replaced.

I think that we can potentially build something big under Klopp if he has the right backing in the transfer market. This summer will tell a lot about the ambitions of the club.

Yes but realistically in an ideal world only Lallana, Henderson and Matip should be starters out of that lot next season so the odd knock with that lot shouldnt be overly concerning.
